A few days back, I attended an evening cocktail session organized by Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) with RaW & Farah at Hotel Istana. The event was held in conjunction with their latest launch of the double daily flights from Bandar Seri Begawan to Kuala Lumpur and it was also part of their re-branding journey of the airline.

Brunei Darussalam’s national carrier, Royal Brunei Airlines , first began its rebranding journey in an event held at the Brunei International Airport last October, presenting its new livery and logo on an Airbus A319, which was painted by RB’s own in-house engineering team.

Prior to the reveal, Royal Brunei Airlines has been releasing teasers of its redefinition of travel to in the local market, both via print and online adverts and the “Smile Squad”; who has been sparking public curiosity over the past two weeks. The Smiles Squad has been spotted in different parts of the country, spreading genuine smiles and good cheer to the public.

RB is currently having a promotion for flights to Bandar Seri Begawan which starts rom RM99++ and from RM588++ for a 3days 2 nights stay. Check out their website for more info.

The airline will be receiving it’s new Boeing 787 Dreamliner, making it the first airline in South East Asia to take delivery of the aircraft. Also we were given a short presentation by Brunei Tourism about the places to visit in Brunei during that night.
