This one is very clear-cut. Probably the easiest one among all. Most of the participants got this one right. Bangalore palace was built in 1944 and it is one of the main attractions in the city. It was built to replicate the Windsor Castle in England.

This answer can be found under my Korea category. The prayer ribbons, tied on the fences in Imjingak Park, bear messages, wishes and prayers for the unification of the 2 Korean countries. It is situated at the border between the two Korean countries, but it’s on the South Korean side.

A few of you answered Redang jetty for this. No that’s not the answer. I was in Perhentian Island to take my open water diver’s license last year. As mentioned in my “Earning my open water diver certification” post, I did mention that I stayed in Perhentian Besar island and I did put the same photo there.

The answer to this photo can be found in the China section. Photo was taken during my trip to Shanghai and it shows a view for Shanghai City from an aerial view. At that time I was on top of the Oriental Pearl Tower.

Snapped during my trip to Karimunjawa but this place is not in Karimunjawa. Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah or Masjid Agung Semarang, located in Semarang city area. Visitors could get up the minaret up to the 19th floor to get an overview of the mosque and its surroundings.

The only photo that was never been published inside this blog. Taken during my trip to Saudi Arabia. Mount Arafat or Jabal Ar-Rahmah was believed to be the place where Adam met Eve (Hawa).

Shot during my visit to Melbourne. The Old Melbourne Gaol is an old prison which is now open to the public who would wish to experience how life in prison would be.

I was in Beijing back in 2010. As you can see in the photo the lake is already half frozen. The photo shows the Kunming Lake which is inside the Summer Palace compound.

A bit tricky. Referring to the contest post, I did mentioned “guess where these photos was taken”. This photo shows a view of Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu from a higher ground but it was taken at Bob’s Peak or the Queenstown Skyline.
