A fortnight ago, I had the chance to spend one night at the newly renovated Corporate Deluxe room in Holiday Villa Hotel & Suites Subang. We stayed on the 18^th floor, which gives us an outstanding view of the surroundings. The hotel was said to have 383 spacious guestrooms, 8 food and beverage outlets, 18 convention and meeting facilities including 3 ballrooms and a comprehensive range of sports and recreational facilities. Since 2010, the hotel has been undergoing a major refurbishment program.

Location

The hotel is located in the prime area of Subang Jaya, just 25km away from Kuala Lumpur city center. It is also only 8km away from Subang airport and also 45km away from KL International Airport (KLIA), which makes it very convenient for business travellers. Sunway Pyramid and Subang Parade shopping mall is just 5 minutes away from the hotel.

Room

The hotel has a variety type of rooms ranging from Superior , Deluxe rooms, Corporate Deluxe , Executive Suites to Residential Suites and Prima Floor Rooms. The Corporate Deluxe room that I stayed was very spacious equipped with a comfy bed, an LCD TV and a sofa set. It was cosy and nicely decorated with modern interior fittings. Just as we enter the room, a nice fruit basket was already waiting for us in the room. The bathroom was also huge with a separate area for a bathtub and shower.

Facilities

There were vast selections of facilities offered by the hotel. They have sports facilities such as bowling alley, squash and tennis court, an Olympic size swimming pool and even a snooker room. 8 F&B outlets are available around the hotel area. Since we stayed on the Prima floor, we were entitled for their private lounge which offers a stunning view from the 19^th floor. There’s also the Amara Spa which offers traditional Balinese massage. We did try out the Spa and the service was wonderful

Food

We had our dinner at CIBO Italian restaurant which is situated on level 2. The ambiance was very romantic and we do not have to wait too long for our food to arrive. The taste was absolutely delicious!. I would recommend this restaurant for those looking for a place to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Breakfast at the Palm terrace coffee house was also tasty and have many varieties to choose from.

Staffs

Staffs were very friendly since the moment we checked in until we checked out. They seem to be able to answer my questions perfectly and help steer me around the hotel.

Overall

Overall I would say that it is an ideal place to stay for business travellers. I would certainly like to stay there again. Do check out their website for the on-going promotions.
