Here’s a collection of sunset photos which I shot in Phuket recently. I enjoyed 2 days of sunset in Phuket island both at different locations. The west coast of Phuket facing the Andaman sea which stretches from Promthep cape until the airport area will provide u with a great view of the sunset. Below are the few photos taken at Promthep Cape and Nan Yang beach on the island’s west coast.

Promthep Cape

Locals called it Laem Promthep and it’s situated at the southwest corner of Phuket.  One could enjoy a sunset view from a higher ground here. Promthep Cape has became one of the most popular tourist spot in Phuket as it offers stunning views to all visitors. During high season, make sure u arrived at the place early in order to get the best spot.

Nai Yang Beach

This beach area is situated nearby the airport. Those who favor a less crowded place to do sun bathing should opt for this area. It is way more peaceful compared to famous spots such as Patong, Kata or Karon. Like any other beaches in Phuket, there are umbrella’s and sun beds available for rent. On Tuesdays, there’s a night market beside the entrance road to the beach.
