After touring Disneyland the previous day, we headed to Ngong Ping 360 to take the cable car or gondola ride and see the giant Buddha statue. The ticket line was long at the station as it was weekend. There were a few gondolas that have a transparent glass floor in it which will allow visitors to see through the below floor. We only took the normal gondola since the price difference was quite big.
The ride offers a scenic ride across the sea and mountains area which took about 30 minutes to reach Ngong Ping village. We could see a clear view of the Hong Kong International Airport when the gondola climbs up the mountain area. Actually, I forgot to bring the spare battery for my camera so there was not much photo taken here.
We walked around at Ngong Ping village for about an hour enjoying the views. We didn’t take the Buddha Wisdom Trail though as it was already mid-day at that time and the weather is quite hot since it was mid-year.
Took several pictures from distance and we took the gondola ride back to where we came and left for Kowloon after that.
