Train – the most popular mode of transportation in India. Some people say that a trip to India is not complete without getting aboard an Indian railway system. After our stop in Jaipur, we decided to board a train to get us to Agra to experience the ride on the Indian railway

We arrived at Jaipur train station at 5.30am in the morning. We saw many people sleeping on the floor of the train station. Some are sleeping while waiting for their train while some do make the station as their sleeping place.

No, no it is not the overcrowded suburban train which you normally see in the media. The train was just like a normal train in Malaysia but it has more type of seats ranging from the 1AC, 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper, 2AC chair and so on.

We bought the 2 AC tier ticket, a second class sleeper bed coach with A/C. There are no rooms in the 2AC coach; you will be only be separated with the walkway by curtains. Moreover, there are possibilities that you would be sharing the area with someone else.

The journey to Agra took about 5 hours. I didn’t sleep much on the train since I was chatting with this one Indian boy from Jaipur who is travelling with his parents to get to another town. He told me he’s still a student in one of the college in Jaipur and told me some stories about India and Jaipur along the way.
We arrived safely in Agra at about 11.30am. Generally, it was an unforgettable experience being on a train ride in India.
How much does it costs for the train?

Indian railways are out standing… I love to travel by train… its very cheap…the only hitch is to get a confirm ticket because India is densely populated…
