Since 6 years ago, traveling has been a great friend of mine. Since the day I fell in love with traveling, I’ve managed to collect more than 50 stamps on my passport. Although it is not much considered to some avid travelers, it still considers a significant amount to me. I am not the type of person who travels on a splurge budget, spending a lot of money on my trip but neither did I traveled on a shoestring budget. I would say I’m the one stuck in between the two. I am the type of person who will always try to find options that is value for money.

To help me achieve that, normally I would do my travel itineraries and bookings my self but sometimes but there are times that I used another option, travel coupons. I’ve tried buying deals from various coupon sites before but my favorite is still Groupon.

There are a lot of deals related to travel being offered such as getaway packages, hotels, activities and even food. For example, if you are visiting to Kuala Lumpur, you might wanna check out the hotel deals available and also the restaurant in Kuala Lumpur deals. You might be able to save up to 70% on your hotels or food. One good tip before you purchase any deals, you can check the ratings or reviews of the hotel or restaurant at travel sites such as TripAdvisor.

For your info, I am a fan of extreme activities. I did skydiving in Queenstown before and I’m also a PADI scuba diver.  Among the deals that I bought using Groupon was the 3 hour extreme activites which includes ATV & Go Kart ride. I only paid RM58 compared to the original price of RM160. That’s more than 60% savings from the original price. It was totally worth it. Below are some photos that I took during they day.
