To be honest, most visitors that visits Hat Yai are not focusing on sightseeing but it’s more for the food and of course, shopping. For muslims who are traveling to Hat Yai, you don’t have to worry much about halal food because there are plenty of halal food around the city. Most eateries are available within walking distance of the popular Lee Gardens Plaza area.
So here I’m compiling a small list of the halal food restaurants that I found during my visits. Actually, there are a lot more halal restaurants around Hat Yai city. I’ll update the list during my next visit.
1) Hamid Restaurant
Just in front of Lee Garden Plaza. Popular among Malaysians traveling to Hat Yai.
2) Salma Restaurant
Also in the Lee Garden Plaza vicinity.
3) Chekkar Restaurant
