Top 5 inspiring travel movies

I love to watch travel related movies when I have some free time. This pretty much inspires me to travel the world. Here I’m compiling my small list of movies which I can watch over and over again without getting bored.

If you’re looking for some motivation to push u on your backpacking adventure around the world, you might want to watch these movies.

So here is my list of the top 5 travel movies that gets me going.

5. Eurotrip (2004)

Scotty, an American guy, had a female German pen pal. When she suggests they meet, he initially freaks out. But then he discovers that she’s gorgeous, so he went to Europe with his 3 friends after graduation to meet her. As they travel across Europe, the four friends had an amusing adventure

 

4. The Beach (2000)

Richard, an American traveler travels to Thailand and finds himself in possession of a strange map. Rumours state that it leads to a solitary beach paradise, a tropical bliss – excited and intrigued, he sets out to find it. -IMDB

 

3. The Way (2010)

A father heads overseas to recover the body of his estranged son who died while traveling the “El camino de Santiago” or the pilgrimage walk, and decides to take the pilgrimage himself – IMDB

 

2. Eat, Pray, Love (2010)

A married woman realizes how unhappy her marriage really is, and that her life needs to go in a different direction. After a painful divorce, she takes off on a round-the-world journey to “find herself” – IMDB

    I’ve watched 3 out of 5 of this movies. How was The Way? Never really hear about this movie before. We all know Eurotrip was the bomb, all of their series was good 🙂

      Hey Thristhan.. yeah the story was great.. the son died while backpacking through the El Camino de Santiago route.. and his father continued his journey.. you should watch it 🙂

    Should put The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, the movie just superb & crazy. Full of wonderful moments & teach a lot of things that we wouldn’t be able to learn
